You don't have to wear yellow or pink to show your respect.

I know that wearing tshirt is tangible. But there are million of intangible ways to show your respect to the king.

I think it's realy rediculous that some people cut in the line, fight with security guard or even amongst thai people who are in the line to get pink tshirts. What's the point?

Aren't we too materialistic?

I'm so sad..
I set my selling price to $745 in October. When the google share was approaching $745, I adjusted my selling price to be $10 higher. As a result of that my sell order didn't get matched this Wednesday. 2 days later,it drops to $670. I just lost $75 per share in 2 days.

Lesson learn: do not be greedy...

I just got my formal annual performance review yesterday. I really like the performance review process here. I'm not sure that the process is confidential or not. But basically, they value peer reviews, not just manager's, which I think it's very different from other companies that I had worked with. We also do it on the quartery basis. The reason is that, we want to recognize any achievements as soon as possible.

I'm very happy with it. It proves that non-sense girl can be successful at work. It proves that you don't have to bullshit to be successful. It also proves that stealing bottle water from microkitchen everynight doesn't effect my performance.

I really like this comment from my manager. A quick glance, it looks like a very good comment, but if you think about it deeply, it seems pointless, and seems like i'm good at everything, but master of none. :P

"It's clear to see from Lisa's feedback that her strengths are many and diverse. I think Lisa's strengths probably even more diverse than the ones already discussed but haven't yet had a chance to show themselves because of the nature of the work we do in XXX"

Do you notice that there is one popular pattern of pictures in Hi5? Don't know why this posture is so popular among girl teenagers in Hi5.
1) self-taken picture
2) only see part of the face
3) a little bit blury
4) taken while sitting in the car or sitting in the nice place
